Sword Performance is rethinking your sports drink. As doctors, Sword’s founders are concerned about one thing — the athlete. Therefore, all Sword products are completely natural, with no artificial anything. The unique combination of fuel and hydration creates a drink that truly allows you to push your boundaries.
But we all know that pushing boundaries goes beyond the field, track, or court. It’s about striving to become the best possible version of yourself.

We’ve been along side Sword since the beginning. Through ups and downs, good times and bad. We helped them turn their brand into something that meant so much more than just being a sports drink. We created the Boundaries Series — telling stories of athletes who embody the mantra. We helped refresh packaging design, soup up the website, and create social content that always laddered back to the mission of the brand:

SHIELD BRAND DEVELOPMENT
SHIELD. A new sub-brand.
Sword gave us the opportunity to create an entire brand around a new product they planned to launch — a less intense version of Sword called Shield.
Meant for more ‘anytime hydration’ situations, it was to become the other half of Sword Endurance. From competitive research to strategic brand positioning, we were able to determine what Shield stood for in the cluttered sports drink ecosystem — how it sounded, looked, and behaved.
We then brought the brand to life through visual identity and packaging design — introducing the world to a new type of sports drink.
